About Me: Arely ZPerez

I am a college student with many, many books and very, very little time.

I absolutely love books, and have since I was little. It slowly grew into a life-long addiction that I will never get enough of.

In a perfect world, I’d read all the time, but real life likes to  intervene! Meanwhile, I go to school and work real hard, while sneaking in a book at night when the sun has long-since set and the house is quiet.

This blog would have never happened without Kevin Breaux, who suggested the genius idea of starting a review blog. Without him, I wouldn’t be here, and I wouldn’t have met all of the fantastic people the book blogging world has to offer.

About the Reviews

These are the genres I generally read and review. I may be persuaded to read a different genre than I’m used to, but these are typically the ones that I’ll choose from.

Note: there will be a warning before each post that contains adult content.

  • Category/Series Romance
  • Contemporary
  • Erotic Romance (very, very little on this blog)
  • Fantasy
  • Historical
  • Paranormal
  • Urban Fantasy
  • Young Adult

  • Contemporary
  • Historical
  • Juvenile (childrens or young adult)
  • Mythic
  • Romantic
  • Urban Fantasy
  • Vampire
  • Werewolf

Young Adult

  • Contemporary
  • Fantasy
  • Historical
  • Romance

There may be others I’m willing to read—it all depends on the type and style of writing. Likewise, I may refuse to read a book within my genres because of the style of writing. I have no interest whatsoever in political, self-help, philosophical, theological or biographical titles.

Rating Scale

5 butterflies: There are not enough words to describe how amazing this book is. Go read it. Now.
4 butterflies: You’re going to love this one!
3 butterflies: It was okay. There were a few things that I might have changed, but I liked it.
2 butterflies: Disappointing. It had many things I couldn’t get past.
1 butterfly: I barely, if at all, finished reading this book.

  1. quite a clever set up here. My blog is not far so professional or single themed. I haven't read any of the books you've reviewed so far, but I may have to expand my extensive library for them.
